1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between Current Altitude (“we,” “us,” or “our”) and you, the employer or authorized representative of a company (“Employer,” “you,” or “your”) who accesses or uses the Current Altitude job board platform located at currentaltitude.com (the “Platform”).

By creating an account, purchasing a job posting package, or otherwise using our Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform.

These Terms apply exclusively to Employers posting job listings on the Platform. Job seekers are subject to separate terms.

2. Employer Eligibility

To use the Platform as an Employer, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age;
  • You are authorized to act on behalf of the business or organization you represent;
  • Your business operates lawfully within the United States;
  • All information you provide during registration and in your job postings is accurate, complete, and not misleading;
  • You will use the Platform solely for lawful hiring and recruitment purposes.

3. Account Registration & Security

When you register for an account on Current Altitude, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process;
  • Maintain and update your account information to keep it accurate and current;
  • Keep your login credentials confidential and not share them with any third party;
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to or use of your account;
  • Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we have reason to believe that any information you have provided is inaccurate, misleading, or in violation of these Terms.

4. Job Postings & Content Standards

4.1 Employer Responsibility

You are solely responsible for all content contained in your job listings, including but not limited to job titles, descriptions, requirements, compensation information, and company details. Current Altitude does not review, verify, or endorse any job postings prior to publication.

By submitting a job listing, you represent and warrant that:

  • The job opportunity described is real, current, and available;
  • Your organization is a legitimate business entity actively seeking to fill the described position;
  • All information in the listing is truthful, accurate, and not misleading;
  • The job listing complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws;
  • You have the authority to post the job on behalf of the hiring organization.

4.2 Prohibited Content

You may not post any job listing that:

  • Violates any federal, state, or local employment laws, including but not limited to those prohibiting employment discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, or any other protected characteristic;
  • Constitutes a fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading employment opportunity;
  • Requires applicants to pay any fee as a condition of applying or obtaining employment;
  • Promotes multi-level marketing, pyramid schemes, or similar structures;
  • Contains false, inaccurate, or misleading information about the position, company, or compensation;
  • Violates any third-party intellectual property rights;
  • Contains obscene, offensive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable content;
  • Involves the collection of applicant personal data beyond what is reasonably necessary for the hiring process.

4.3 Content Moderation

Current Altitude reserves the right, but assumes no obligation, to review, monitor, edit, or remove any job posting at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to listings that we determine, in our sole discretion, violate these Terms or applicable law. Removal of a listing does not entitle the Employer to a refund.

5. Payments & Packages

5.1 Pricing

Current Altitude offers both one-time flat-fee job posting packages and recurring subscription plans. Current pricing for all packages is displayed on the Platform and is subject to change at any time. Price changes will not affect packages already purchased.

5.2 Payment Terms

All fees are due and payable in advance. By purchasing a package, you authorize Current Altitude to charge the payment method you provide for the full amount of the selected package. All prices are listed in US dollars.

You represent and warrant that:

  • You are authorized to use the payment method provided;
  • The payment information you provide is accurate and complete;
  • You will promptly update your payment information if it changes.

5.3 Subscriptions

If you purchase a subscription plan, your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel prior to the renewal date. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will retain access to your subscription benefits through that date.

5.4 Refund Policy

All sales are generally final. Refunds are not automatically granted but may be considered on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of Current Altitude. To request a refund, contact us at [your contact email]. We reserve the right to deny any refund request. Approval of a refund request in one instance does not obligate us to approve future refund requests.

6. Disclaimer of Liability for Job Postings

CURRENT ALTITUDE IS A NEUTRAL PLATFORM THAT CONNECTS EMPLOYERS WITH JOB SEEKERS. WE DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN, SUPERVISE, DIRECT, OR CONTROL ANY ASPECT OF THE HIRING PROCESS OR EMPLOYMENT RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN EMPLOYERS AND CANDIDATES.

Specifically, Current Altitude:

  • Does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or legality of any job listing;
  • Does not verify the legitimacy of any employer, job opportunity, or hiring organization;
  • Does not screen, evaluate, or endorse any job seekers or candidates;
  • Does not participate in or bear responsibility for any hiring decisions made by Employers;
  • Does not bear responsibility for any employment relationships, disputes, claims, or outcomes arising from connections made through the Platform;
  • Does not guarantee that job listings will attract qualified candidates or result in successful hires;
  • Is not responsible for any interactions, communications, or transactions between Employers and job seekers that occur on or off the Platform.

You, as the Employer, assume full and sole responsibility for: (a) the content and accuracy of your job listings; (b) compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations; (c) all aspects of your hiring process; and (d) any employment relationships that result from use of the Platform.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Current Altitude and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and successors from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to:

  • Your use of the Platform;
  • Any job listing you post on the Platform;
  • Your violation of these Terms;
  • Your violation of any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right;
  • Any dispute between you and a job seeker or candidate;
  • Any hiring decision you make or employment relationship you enter into.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL CURRENT ALTITUDE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM OR THESE TERMS, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE PLATFORM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO CURRENT ALTITUDE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

9. Equal Employment Opportunity Compliance

As an Employer using the Platform, you agree to comply with all applicable equal employment opportunity laws and regulations, including but not limited to:

  • Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964;
  • The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA);
  • The Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA);
  • The Equal Pay Act;
  • All applicable state and local anti-discrimination laws.

You agree that your job listings will not discriminate against applicants on the basis of any protected characteristic. Current Altitude reserves the right to remove any listing that we believe, in our sole discretion, may violate applicable equal employment opportunity laws.

10. Data Collection & Privacy

Current Altitude collects certain personal and business information from Employers in connection with account registration and use of the Platform. This may include, but is not limited to, your name, company name, business address, email address, phone number, payment information, and job posting activity data.

We use this information to:

  • Operate and improve the Platform;
  • Process payments and manage your account;
  • Communicate with you about your account and job postings;
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations;
  • Detect and prevent fraud and misuse of the Platform.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. For full details on how we collect, use, and protect your information, please review our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

You are responsible for ensuring that your collection and use of job applicant data through the Platform complies with all applicable privacy laws, including but not limited to applicable state data privacy laws. Current Altitude is not responsible for your handling of applicant personal data.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform created by Current Altitude, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Current Altitude and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

By posting a job listing on the Platform, you grant Current Altitude a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, reproduce, and distribute your listing content for the purposes of operating and promoting the Platform.

You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to all content you submit to the Platform, and that such content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.

12. Termination & Suspension

Current Altitude reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Violation of these Terms;
  • Posting of fraudulent or misleading job listings;
  • Non-payment of fees;
  • Conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful to other users or to the Platform.

Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Termination of your account does not entitle you to a refund of any fees paid. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to Sections 6, 7, 8, and 13.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation between the parties. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within thirty (30) days, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Arbitration shall take place in Washington State. The prevailing party shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm.

14. Changes to These Terms

Current Altitude reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify Employers of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Platform and updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

15. Miscellaneous

Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Current Altitude with respect to your use of the Platform as an Employer and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce that provision in the future.

Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms freely.

No Agency: Nothing in these Terms creates any agency, partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship between you and Current Altitude.
